What is the purpose of UKCIL?

    UKCIL is a stable, easy-to-use, and well-functioning web portal, that has been designed to enable elderly and disabled direct payment users, personal health budget holders, or recipients of self-directed support, to find the at-home care staff (PAs) they need. 

    Self-funders can use the portal for themselves, whilst individual employers, including DP users, PHB holders and SDS recipients may use the portal in tandem with a Supporting Organisation (SO), as is deemed apt by them and their SO. 

    Depending on their requirements, there is a choice to use the portal independently, register family / a friend to help them as their Account Manager or get the full support team of their SO / LA.
